Denver, Arapaho, Adams & Jefferson extend Stay-at-Home to 05/08/2020!

Denver, Arapaho, Adams & Jefferson Counties have extended their Stay-at-Home orders until 05/08/2020, as Colorado's state-wide Stay-at-Home order is set to expire 04/26/2020.

Colorado Stay-at-Home order extended to 04/26 / Denver's to 04/30/2020

On 04/06/2020 Governor Polis extended Colorado's Stay-at-home order until 04/26/2020, whereas Mayor Hancock extended Denver's order until 04/30/2020. The measures are intended to combat Coronavirus and flatten the curve.

This means that Alpine Adult Day Care's base site will have to remain closed to clients until at least 04/26/2020. However, our food delivery, welfare calls and online services (facebook group) are expected to continue, as well as the newly-introduced non-medical transportation to grocery stores/ pharmacies and banks. We expect to be able to continue these services until the stay-at-home orders are lifted.

This means that Alpine Adult Day Care could potentially reopen on Monday, April 27 for non-Denver clients, with Denver clients following on Friday, May 1, 2020.

AADC now offering Non-Medical Transportation to Grocery Stores, Pharmacies & Banks!

Alpine is increasing its service offering during the COVID-19 crisis:

While AADC's base site remains closed due to state & federal non-congregation orders, Alpine is pleased to announce that it will be offering non-medical transportation (NMT) services to all clients who have Alpine selected as transportation company of choice on their respective PARs (i.e. all clients that Alpine is normally transporting to and from the day care).

Such NMT rides will be for one person at the time and are meant to access essential services, such as a grocery store, bank or pharmacy from a client's home and back. Trips to a doctor are specifically not allowable under this. No exceptions, please.

Alpine will ensure daily disinfection of vehicles and that vans / buses are properly cleaned/disinfected before/after each trip and that social distancing rules are observed during the trip.

Trips by clients can be requested by contacting AADC during regular office hours at 303 755 8002 and will be scheduled on a first-come-first-serve basis.
