We wish you a Happy New Year with Alpine Adult Day Care! We have a great program this month with trips to the Buffalo Bill Museum, the Casino, Denver Art Museum, the Nickel Arcade, the Plains Conservation Center, the Rec Center, the Park Meadows Mall and to the Movies, as well as our regular shopping trips. Also on the program: Our Therapy Pig visit. Other indoor activities include, arts & crafts, games & puzzles, Thai Chi, our Wii Bowling tournament, as well as other therapeutic recreational activities and bingo. Don't miss our January Birthday Party! Please note that we will be closed on New Years Day.

Alpine wins 2024-26 Respite Grant from Colorado Respite Coalition

Alpine Adult Day Care is pleased to announce to have been awarded the 2024-25 State Respite Grant by the Colorado Respite Coalition. The funds will be available to Alpine clients who are currently not receiving any financial support for adult day services or are underserved by the system (i.e no Medicaid or VA). Clients for this grant need to be individuals requiring care or supervision to 1) meet basic needs, 2) prevent physical self-injury / injury to others or 3) avoid placement in an out-of-home long-term care facility. Eligible families should ideally include an unpaid family caregiver in need of respite and a client with the aforementioned special health care need.

The respite care provided under this grant is free of charge for all Alpine recipients.

Adult day services supported by these grant funds will be allocated on a first-come-first-served basis until all grant funds are spend. Clients, family members and caregivers who believe they would qualify to receive respite under this grant should reach out to Alpine at 303 755 8002 and ask for the respite grant program.
